With limited dedicated support for Scale Up local businesses in the East Midlands, High Growth and the University of Nottingham have teamed up to bring a unique support programme for the most ambitious businesses in the region.
Launched by the founder of High Growth, Stuart Ross, and Professor David Park of the University of Nottingham, The Ultimate Scale Up programme aims to help businesses in the region fulfill their potential.
Stuart explained: “There’s a huge potential for businesses in the East Midlands that, unfortunately isn’t being nurtured. Compared to other regions a lower proportion of businesses become ‘Scale up’, as defined by the Scale Up Institute. That is why it was so important for us to bring a world class Scale Up programme using expertise, experience and connections to offer growing businesses a real chance to move to the next level in a way that’s sustainable and crucially, profitable.”
Professor David Park, Director of Executive Education at Nottingham University Business School, added: “We are incredibly excited to launch the Ultimate Scale Up Programme in partnership with High Growth that will actively support business leaders at ambitious mid-market companies across the East Midlands. This innovative new partnership supports our ongoing aim to deliver the very best business education and coaching support across the region and beyond.”
The launch of ‘The Ultimate Scale Up’ programme is initially open to just 12 business leaders with the potential to quickly reach the next level of growth. Each attendee will attend two residentials as well as receiving accredited coaching, online and peer to peer support across a six- month period. The programme brings in the latest thinking and examples from Scale up experts and practitioners from across the world, sharing game changing strategies that facilitate rapid growth in businesses with ambition.
David added, “We are dedicated to being a key part of the support structure to help fuel growth and the creation of new jobs in high growth organisations in our region.”
