Purpose:
The Talent Assessment Chart helps leaders evaluate whether their team members are the right people in the right seats — a cornerstone for scaling any business. It’s designed to assess individual performance and cultural alignment using a simple yet powerful 2x2 matrix.
Key Elements:
Vertical Axis: Performance — are they delivering results?
Horizontal Axis: Core Values alignment — do they embody your company’s culture?
This creates four quadrants:
High Performance + High Values: A-Players (promote and protect!)
High Values + Low Performance: Coach or reposition.
High Performance + Low Values: Dangerous — may be toxic. Decide fast.
Low Performance + Low Values: Replace quickly.
